sarita’s lemon cookies

Sarita was the cook of our friends in Nepal.

Cookies:
2 cups flour
1 cup salted butter, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp water

Icing:
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup icing sugar

Directions:

Knead together all the ingredients for the cookies. Place in plastic bag and chill for 2 hours. Roll into small balls. Flatten onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake, 350 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

Mix together ingredients for the icing. Drizzle over warm cookies.

Cool before serving.
